Our Story

Together for Change (TfC) was started by the people involved in the grass roots charity Solva Care, in response to the plans and experiences of the community in building a happy, healthy and connected village. We believe that by working together, county wide and beyond, we stand a better chance of creating a good life for all and sustainable solutions for our planet. 

Our programme of partnership work was decided jointly by communities, and third and statutory sector organisations at two meetings held in June 2020 on the Future of Support for Community Led action in Pembrokeshire. To strengthen the vision for this work, partner organisations agreed a Ten-Point Plan to Benefit Community-led Action and Communities setting out how organisations could work best together to support the wellbeing of all and put the voice of communities at the centre of decision making.  

TfC received funding from the National Lottery Community Funding Wales in September 2020 to take forward the programme of work with a second phase of funding awarded in September 2022, for three years. We work with, and for, the benefit of communities and are open to any ideas, from individuals, groups and organisations, that want to further that aim.
