Developing an Asset Based Engagement Tool: A resource for place-based planning and engagement on wellbeing

Localised, community-led action continues to take centre stage in sustainable place-based health and social care. As a result, there has been new and renewed interest, by organisations, in the assets of communities and the role of assets in individual and collective wellbeing. Working with the support from the Hywel Dda University Health Board, we are developing a data rich, online resource to inform planning, and help engagement with communities in matters related to prevention and wellbeing. The project builds upon our previous research and from strategic discussions with partner organisations to further strengthen the evidence base for communities of place.
